Learning Plans

Our program requires:

1. A laptop or a tablet with a working microphone, speaker, and webcam
2. Zoom must be installed
3. An internet connection.

We also strongly recommend headphones to allow the student to concentrate and be immersed in the virtual classroom.

Mëso!Shqip has a minimum requirement of X years. The two entry-level classes ensure that the student is familiar with the Albanian Alphabet and the basics to continue with literature and communication. Students with the ability to operate a laptop or Tablet device should be able to enroll and start learning on Mëso!Shqip.

If the student is comfortable independently using a computer or a tablet, then it is a great time to start learning Albanian. We also have successful students who enroll much later, pick up the lower-level courses to establish a strong foundation of the Albanian language and breeze through the curriculum eventually catching up with their age commensurate curriculum. This approach works very well because of the one-on-one student to teacher model.  Schedule a Welcome Call with Mëso!Shqip Admissions Department to find out if now is the right time to enroll for your student.

To ensure student success, we require that students commit to at least one class per week. Our classes are 50* minutes long and will also include approximately one hour of homework each week (we can always give less or more, depending on what’s going on in your student’s life).

*Grade 0 which is Para-abetare, and Grade 1 which is Abetare, classes are 25 minutes long, twice per week.

In order to be eligible for enrollment in Mëso!Shqip classes, we require that students are able to do one thing only – sit still and focus for 50-minute sessions with their instructor (25-minute sessions for younger kids)
